This will be the last post in our series of product introductions.  Today we'll provide a brief intro to Management Reporter.

Management Reporter

Management Reporter is a new report writer designed to help finance groups create and generate financial statements.  It was written entirely in C# using SQL Server as the back end for data storage.  This application is based on the functional concepts of FRx, using a building block approach to report design.  Reusable building blocks of report, row, column, and tree definitions can be mixed and matched to produce a wide variety of reports.  Management Reporter includes a report wizard to get up and running quickly with key financial reports such as a trial balance, income statement, or balance sheet.  Generated reports can be secured within a report repository for viewing via a native viewer or exported to Microsoft Excel.  Management Reporter shipped in January of 2008 as part of PerformancePoint Server 2007.
