Some F# Links: SPiM, F# News, FFT, Multi-core

Andrew Phillips' Stochastic Pi Simulator (SPiM) is implemented in F# (and also OCaml) and has been gaining some attention of late. There is a nice article called Making Computer Systems Reveal Biological Secrets on the MSR website and F# gets a mention at the end.

On that topic, Jon Harrop has some new articles on his F# News site:

Tomas Petricek has a nice article on The Hub called "Keep your multi-core CPU busy with F#".

How soon can we expect an F# add-in for the next release of Visual Studio (Orcas I believe).  I’m sure there are many others like me who will start using Orcas along with their move to Vista.  (if we can play with F#, why not other bleeding edge products 🙂 )

  2. On Don Syme’s WebLog on F# and Other Research Projects , there are several interesting recent entries

  3. Un síntoma de que algo se está haciendo popular es que aparezca su propia revista. Pues

Is there going to be a Lang.NET Symposium this year? I’ve been watching the 2006 videos again and they are such a huge resource, full of interesting ideas and tangents.

    Kind regards,
