Silverlight 4 Release Candidate


At the MIX10 conference last week was the announcement that the Silverlight 4 Release Candidate was now available for download. You'll need Visual Studio 2010 to use the developer tools for Silverlight 4.

  • Retrieving a socket cross-domain policy file from an HTTP address
  • Enhancements to the out of browser full trust mode
  • Full trust mode for using sockets without a cross-domain policy file
  • Sending HTTP requests with the Accept-Language header
  • Support for XPath expressions
