Microsoft’s Global Business Support (GBS) group is part of our Customer Service and Support team which in turn is part of our worldwide Services Organisation.
In the UK we are growing rapidly and have the following positions available at the moment. In general we have two distinct roles -
Reactive Support Engineering Roles – these roles are primarily office based and react to support requests from our customers that are usually complex and time critical. In this role you require strong product knowledge, great customer services skill, strong troubleshooting skills and great collaboration and team work. You will work with others both locally and internationally investigating issues, filing bugs, creating technical content and solving problems.
Premier Field Engineering Roles – these roles are primarily based working on customer sites delivering a variety of proactive services including health checks, workshops, chalk and talks, code reviews and hands on problem solving. In this role you collaborate with Premier Account teams, Support Engineering colleagues and others to deliver first class outcomes to your customers.
These are no ordinary support roles. Our engineers usually have years of experience, strong technical skills combined with fantastic customer service skills along with a passion for software and a desire to learn new things.
