Happy Birthday–BBC Micro!

Yes, the BBC Micro is 30! . Great article about the history of it here. The “model B” was the first computer I ever owned. The first computer I used was a Commodore Pet (both the 8Kb and the incredibly powerful 32Kb edition) so I was hooked on 6502 machine code (not assembly language because I did not have an assembler) from early on. Then I did a little tinkering on a Cromemco that my maths department had and then there was the batch of Sharp MZ80s (which I think had Z80 processors and the CP/M operating system).

I remember I had to wait months for my BBC B to arrive, I think the postman got bored of me asking. Ahh, fond memories Smile
