Orcas Beta 2 has arrived!

Disgraceful!

No, not disgraceful that Orcas Beta 2 has arrived but that I haven't blogged anything since 25th of May. And now it is 27th July! In my defense it has been a busy old couple of months. Although a lot of our customers start to go on holiday about this time of year, a lot of my colleagues start going on holiday too so the amount of work does not really seem to decrease at all.

Yesterday we released the Beta 2 of the forthcoming Visual Studio 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5 otherwise all known under the umbrella codename of "Orcas". Reliably as every, Scott Guthrie gives us a guided tour of all the great new features to look out for and helpfully The Moth gives us his experiences of installing it so I am already all geared up to uninstall the old version and get this version on my machine.

Anyway, that's it for now I'm afraid - short and to the point.
