There are probably dozens of articles around proclaiming this recent announcment but this is such good news, I think, for developers and testers (as well as those designing and deploying production systems) that I think it is worth highlighting:

Virtual Server 2005 R2 Enterprise Edition is now FREE to download!

If you are interested in Virtual PC and Virtual Server then this is a really useful blog.

Both 32 bit and 64 bit versions are available and you can run it on either Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP.
