So what blogs do I read?

..thought I'd pass on some of the links to blogs that I read on a regular basis and particular articles which have caught my eye.

For up to date technical news? Try the TechCrunch sites: https://www.techcrunch.com/ and https://uk.techcrunch.com/ but my preference is the Guardian tech blog at https://blogs.guardian.co.uk/technology/  I also have a personal interest in technology and environmental issues and 'The Green Blog' is the best blog I can find on the subject https://blog.tmcnet.com/green-blog/.

Scott Schnoll's weblog 'Is this thing on?' @ https://blogs.technet.com/scottschnoll is definitely worth an feed.  Scott doesn't blog that often but has written some great blogs on continuous replication including Using a Passive Node as an SCR Target and Exchange 2007 - Continuous Replication Architecture and Behavior which goes back to 2006 but is still great for reference.  Microsoft's DPM team blog 'Ctrl P - The Data Protection Manager Blog!' @ https://blogs.technet.com/dpm/default.aspx is also worth a look.  Jason Buffington a Product Manager for DPM is the main contributor of this blog.  Some nice content but would like to see a bit more of it.  ..this will be a blog to keep an eye on as DPM becomes more widely adopted.  If you are using the DPM Storage Calculator then this is place to start ...followed by my blog on the subject of course.

Some other technical blogs I read are You Had Me At EHLO.. of course, plus Jason Langridge's Weblog, which is very useful for up to date information concerning the world of mobile devices.  I also really like Andy Grogan's blog 'telnet 127.0.0.1 25'  which has some great posts such as 'Windows Vista - where the heck is Telnet?…'

Some Unified Communications blogs that I have written about before here..  I can now add Julian Datta's blog to this list at https://blogs.technet.com/julian/.

And if you want to be able to write great blogs?   This is a fantastic site: 'CopyBlogger' which blogs regular features which I wish I had the time to fully digest.. (https://www.copyblogger.com/)  Really makes a difference to posting effective blogs.

Hope this is useful.  There are some more on my blog role on the front page of my blog too...
