Port25 is also All About Interop

Sam Ramji reminded me that he and I need to talk about Port25, the new website Microsoft just launched, which is dedicated to communications and discussion surrounding the open source software lab that's run at Microsoft. Bill Hilf, GM at Microsoft, explained at the MTS event that the open source lab at Microsoft has over 300 disparate systems running, and we do tons of research and analysis on the success and efficacy of various open-source processes and models, as well as analysis of interoperability between Microsoft products and open-source products (for example, how does a Windows Vista client behave in an environment that contains no Active Directory server, but has a bunch of RedHat clients?). Anyway, check out Port25.
