Great WinHEC presentation on device interfaces compared to device clases

[This is a repeat of a post I made to NTDEV, but I wanted to make sure I reached as many people as possible.]

 

I just read this deck, https://download.microsoft.com/download/5/E/6/5E66B27B-988B-4F50-AF3A-C2FF1E62180F/CON-T615_WH08.pptx, which was presented at WinHEC this past year. It is by far the best explanation of device interfaces and device classes that I have seen in 10 years. It worthwhile reading for both the new and experienced driver developer.

 

I was asked to enter a name and password to down the file, I hit cancel and it downloaded just fine. I don’t know if this was an IE8/Win7 quirk or not, so YMMV.
