Visual Studio 2010 Code Generation

I’ll be presenting this Wednesday at the east bay chapter of the Bay.NET User Group where we’ll be taking a look at techniques for code generation in Visual Studio 2010, from uncovering the anatomy of code snippets, item templates, and project templates; to the use of T4 templates.

It will also be an opportunity to see two open source projects, that will be released later this month, that provide StyleCop compliant code snippets, item templates, and project templates for Visual Studio 2010.

I’ll also be presenting the session later this month at the Sacramento .NET Users Group and at the Silicon Valley Code Camp in October.
