Next Tuesday, January 30, Mindjet Labs is sponsoring a free webcast on the architecture of their Word 2007 add-in for MindManager. This product takes full advantage of Open XML's custom schema support to provide true round-trip interoperability between MindManager's XML format and an Open XML document (Word 2007 DOCM format in this case).

Michael Scherotter of Mindjet, the architect of the Word add-in, will lead the webcast, and he'll also have my colleague and good friend Don Campbell with him. This is an opportunity to learn in detail about how an ISV has used Open XML to reach new markets and create new opportunities for their products.
