The Windows Phone 7 Operating System and the associated Designer and Developer Tools have been released to manufacture!!

This session is your opportunity to ask plenty of questions and see at how the phone operates, see some Australian showcase apps and understand how the phone is uniquely positioned to combine your personal, work and gaming life on to one device.

The phone is fresh, different, consumer friendly, it’ll be a land grab, so use your existing skills in .NET, C# and Silverlight/XNA, go wild, build apps, make some money and delight customers!!

ie9_logoThe second part of the evening we’ll take a peek at Internet Explorer 9 Beta, see HTML5 in action, understand desktop integration and marvel at the performance gains from utilising the raw power of your GPU (Graphics Processor Unit) for text and graphics acceleration.

Oh and I’ll have a couple of Windows Phone 7 devices with me, if you have been building an app and want to try it on a real device then bring along your XAP file.
