New Windows Vista Subsystem Names Abound – a marketers *** dream:-)



If you haven't had a chance to check out the MSDN Windows Vista Developer Center then see out http://msdn.microsoft.com/windowsvista, it's probably a 15 minute read to get a flavour of what to expect in the next version of Windows but for now here is a quick summary of new names...



Not too surprisingly "Windows Presentation Foundation" and "Windows Communication Foundation" have both gone to Beta 1 as well and you can download and run these components on Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP1.     Have you installed WinFx in Vista? It’s a seperate install off the supportwinfx directory?
