ACS Services Oriented Computing SIG Session happening in Melbourne on March 15th

ACS( Australian Computer Society ) Service Oriented Computing SIG (Melbourne)

There is now an ACS SOA SIG in Melbourne and I have the pleasure to present a slot on what is going on at Microsoft and across the IT industry as part of an effort to define enabling standards for SOAs.

The session covers Web Services Specifications as over seen by the WS-I Organisation, Web Services Enhancements, Microsoft's initial implementation of these specifications and the future Indigo programming model.

You may also care to check out the Object Watch Newsletters on SOAs and Pat Helland's discussion on "Metropolis: Envisioning the Service Oriented Enterprise".

The event is Free to all interested, not just ACS members
