  1. I’m not sure if this is the best place to post this, but wanted to reach out for help and/or a suggestion. I’m running an installer via an artifact script that adds an environment variable %MY_VAR% and then adds that variable to the %PATH% variable. When I install the artifact through DevTest Labs, the %PATH% variable is not expanded. If I install the tool manually by logging in, it is.

    For example, if I run echo %PATH% from a cmd prompt, I see something like C:\windows\system32;C:\windows;C:\windows\System32\Wbem;%MY_VAR%;C:\windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;

    But if I install the tool manually, the variable is expanded.
