Feature update: Redeploy a Lab Virtual Machine

As a Lab user, if you are not able to connect to your VM due to errors in the remote desktop connection, you can now redeploy a lab virtual machine. This saves you the time spent in troubleshooting your remote desktop connection or application access to windows-based Azure virtual machine. When you redeploy a virtual machine, it moves the virtual machine to a new node within the Azure infrastructure and then powers it back on, retaining all your configuration options and associated resources.

To redeploy a lab virtual machine, click on the Redeploy option under Operations in the virtual machine blade.

Clicking on the redeploy button will migrate your virtual machine to a new Azure host and restart it for you.

Try it today and let us know what you think about it!
