As a Lab admin, you can now post announcements to notify users about recent changes or additions to your Lab. For example, you can notify them of a new image, a new VM size being made available, or a specific Lab policy being updated. Note that this announcement feature was meant to be used for temporary updates that you can disable after a specific period of time. We will soon come with a feature to publish permanent information about the Lab.
The posted announcement will appear on the overview page of the Lab:
The Lab user can click on the announcement link to view the details of that announcement.
You can navigate to configuration and policies to post an announcement. You can add an announcement title that will appear at the top of the overview page, and the announcement text that the user will see when they click on it. You will also be able to view a preview of the announcement that will be posted after enabling it.
