Here is a list of items that are tested in your Windows 8 App. If you are in Southern California, please email these posts for more information on getting a token for your app by June 30, 2012!

 

Users will first interact with your app after install by clicking on your tile and your application’s title; they will then see the splash screen, and the foreground and background color for your app.
To meet this requirement:

Review and follow the guidelines for tiles, guidelines for badges, and the guidelines for secondary tiles.
Ensure the background and foreground color that you select in your manifest are complementary and look good even on high contrast displays and lower screen brightness.
