Game Design: Net Rumble in an academic paper?

Check out this article, AWESOME!  Yes, Net Rumble is used to demonstrate a neural network type of artificial intelligence.  In an article out of UWA:

“Interactively Evolved Modular Neural Networks for Game Agent Control” at: https://www.csse.uwa.edu.au/cig08/Proceedings/papers/8063.pdf

So, not only can you create beer (see last post), you can also use existing code (net rumble) to simulate genetic experiments.

What can I say, I just found the article, take a look at it.  I am going to tear it apart.

Reading this paper points to the utilization of Net Rumble or similar to build a networked game that would function using WiFi and the players would interact personally and through their phones.  Advancing the concept one could include extras like taking photos of certain objects in the room for a scavenger hunt.

If you want to download and use Net Rumble, you will need to have C# Express 2008 and XNA 3.1 as Net Rumble has not been upgraded to XNA 4.0.  The link, as of Nov. 30, 2010: https://create.msdn.com/en-US/education/catalog/sample/net_rumble

And here is a picture of the West Side Story, get it, Net Rumble…West Side Story.  I just crack me up. :)
