Secret Communications X30M: Is it really that hard to put some Bing Map pushpins on Windows Phone 7?

Doing a search for information on Bing Maps results in information noise, whether you use Bing or Google.  Lot of people out there writing about Bing Maps and have been as the Bing Maps for Phone has been moving through the Betas.  This is good and bad.  Good as there are a lot of people who have seen the absolute power of Bing Map.  Bad as not all of the examples work, and many of the examples are difficult to reproduce because the people writing the articles are really smart.

Occaisionally I run across a well written document that has the correct source code and so forth.  If you need to learn how to utilize the Bing Map Silverlight Control in Windows Phone go to (link checked on Nov. 12, 2010):

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/wp7trainingcourse_usingbingmapslab.aspx

Download the instructions and source code from here.  The Windows Phone training kit is useful, but the Bing Map lab material is the source files download.
