Imagine Cup: The First Lady Speaks at the Final Ceremony

Wow, the First Lady of the US, Michele Obama, gave a four minute talk to the students, and even though I am not a Democrat, it was impressive.  Usually anything coming out of Washington D.C. I consider simply a way to control my life and find it annoying.  This time the First Lady hit the spot, and the audience was electrified by her careful talk about the importance of technology in solving the big world problems.

During her talk she left open the possibility that she might visit the Imagine Cup in New York!

Afterward the Final Ceremony, I was polled the students and all of them felt that the First Lady made the Imagine Cup an even more serious event.
