Thomas Zipplies, Technical Consulting Engineer Manager, Software Development Products, Intel Corporation
Development of applications for small form factor or embedded devices requires a specific setup as the target system usually cannot be used as a development system (i.e., no PC-like OS, keyboard, or screen). Thomas Zipplies will demonstrate the full development cycle of building, downloading, debugging, and conducting performance analysis of system and application software in a cross-development environment. Detailed control over processor and peripheral features through the debugger reduces the number of design cycles. Remote data collection and convenient analysis of performance data on the host system minimizes the difference in workflow compared to the familiar native build environment.
