Brisbane ALM User Group: Integrating Application Insights in the end to end ALM workflow by Anthony Borton
The warming weather and the Thunder Showers this weekend definitely left me a little homesick for Australia…which compelled me to announce this weeks ALM User Group in Brisbane.
Next week is “bring a friend” week at the Brisbane ALM User Group with with every person who brings a friend receiving free soft drinks during the event!
Friday, May 2, 2014
8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Level 28, 400 George Street, Brisbane (map)
Many of our user group meetups have been focused on a specific feature, technology or product. In this month’s meetup I’ve decided to try something a little different.
I want to show as much of a end to end demonstration as possible using Microsoft Visual Studio Online. I’ll keep the application pretty simple (Read AddTwoNumbers.aspx) and will walk through the following:
- · creating a new Team project
- · entering the requirements
- · use the Agile planning tools
- · add the source to version control
- · write tests
- · create an automated build
- · setup a release
- · deploy to Azure
- · looking at the usage in Application Insights
