Working with Ken Schwaber  Microsoft and Scrum.org has developed a program that helps developers learn Scrum, techniques of software craftsmanship, and all while working in teams to deliver real software on the Visual Studio ALM platform!

The Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) program recognizes that excellent technical practices and world-class tools to support those practices are critical to being successful with Scrum.

Scrum.org and Microsoft are sponsoring these courses in order to bring them to developers in emerging markets, at an attainable cost, to enable developers to honestly say “I am a professional,” and pursue the certification to prove it.  The PSD program is the only course that was developed with Microsoft for the Visual Studio product line in 2010. It is also the only training course that fully integrates Scrum, software development best practices, and the advanced tooling inside VS 2010 to really teach people how to work on a team to build good software.  It is exciting that Scrum.org is now bringing this training to China, India and the Philippines.

Please note: There will be a limited number of courses available. While the trainers are in the region they are also able to offer private on-site courses if that works better for your teams. If you would like more information about how the PSD program can give you the tools and skills that you need to jumpstart your software development, head to http://www.scrum.org/professionalscrumdeveloper/
