Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 is out!

This is it - I am sure FireFox lit a fire under a couple executives here in Redmond (probably in the same building I work). Yes there has been a looong time since the last significant update to IE. But Microsoft is responding, and I like what I see:

  • Support for Windows RSS and OPML in the browser
  • Tabbed browsing - very nice implementation
  • Much improved user interface, for example Page Zoom
  • "Dynamic Security Protection" including Phishing filters, Active-X opt-in and more
  • Much improved printing - finally!!
