MIX11 - April 12-14 - Las Vegas (baby)

The MIX11 web developer and designer event is only two weeks away, April 12-14, in Las Vegas. MIX is my favorite dev show each year (at least when TechEd isn't in New Orleans) and I truly look forward to it. MIX is billed as a conversation, but don't discount sessions. Plenty of content will be delivered around UX, Research Projects, UI, and a number of non traditional topics (at least to a developer). I personally expect to see a good deal of HTML5, Silverlight5 and Windows Phone. There lots of oddball sessions I'm looking forward to like XNA and Geolocation as well.

Enough about the event. As ya'll know I focus on Florida. MIX has putup a sweet attendee directory search with the various dotneterati who will be dropping in at https://directory.visitmix.com/Pages/Facewall.aspxl.aspx . You'll find notables like Rob Eisenberg, Kevin Wolf, Jeff Barnes, Diane Leeper, Russ Fustino, and Jess Coburn on the list. Watch twitter as we'll be keeping the florida krewe in touch with both the #flmix and the regular #mix11 hashtags.

Let me know if you're attending and I'll add you to my #flmix11 twitter list.
