Microsoft Convergence 2012 Houston - Wrap Up

David Meego - Click for blog homepage

Convergence is finished and I have been home for a while AND I have finally finished writing up the blog posts for the conference. This year the conference was bigger and better than ever.

Acknowledgements

I have a few people to thank for making the trip happen:

  • Pam Misialek and Errol Schoenfish from the Microsoft Dynamics GP Product Team in Fargo for inviting Mariano and myself to present again at Convergence.

  • My colleagues on the Asia Pacific Microsoft Dynamics GP Support Team, who helped handle the team's workload to allow me to get the session materials created.

  • Rob Dei Rossi and Marian Verzosa on the Asia Pacific Microsoft Dynamics GP Support Team who "Held Fort" while Allan Cahill was on leave and I was at the conference.

  • Charlie Chidiac, my manager, who had the faith in our team to allow me to come to conference and leave the team under staffed.

  • My wife, Jennifer, for finally coming with me on one of my trips to the USA.... even if it was only because her friend lives in Houston.

  • Jennifer's parents for looking after our sons, Aaron and Rohan, as well as the dog, Jackie, for two weeks while Jennifer and I were away.

  • Mariano for putting up with me and co-presenting five sessions with me. :-)

  • Finally, thanks to the readers of the blog and the attendees at our sessions for your support and feedback (Don't forget your evaluations).
