Windows BUILD Developer Conference and Windows 8 Preview

David Meego - Click for blog homepageIf you follow the IT world, you would have seen lots of hype over the last few days about Windows 8 and the developer preview that is available as well as lots of information coming from the BUILD conference in Anaheim, California, USA.

You will notice that the "Metro" interface made popular with the Windows Phone 7 devices is making its way into other Microsoft products such as Windows and Xbox.

    I am wow'ed… 8 seconds??? I have a feeling it would be dependent in the hardware too… i5 or i7?

    Windows 7 was Released To Manufacturing in Jul 2009, so it is already 2 years old.  Windows 8 is still a little way off, so I don't think the rate of change is too fast.  Some would say it is too slow.
