Microsoft Dynamics GP Technical Conference 2011 - Wrap Up

David Meego - Click for blog homepage

The Tech conference is over and I am home, so now it is time to post a wrap up article. You can look at the many links below to see what happened at the conference from the various blogger's perspectives.

I want to take this opportunity to say thank-you to the people who made it possible for me to be at this conference.

  • Thanks to Pam Misialek and Errol Schoenfish for inviting me to attend and present at the conference.  It is always a great pleasure to share my experiences and learn from other attendees too.

  • Thanks to Babs Coler for organising the conference and ensuring it ran smoothly. Babs is one of the unsung heros that just gets the job done.

  • Thanks to my team back in Australia.  Without the support of my manager, Charlie Chidiac, and my team mates, Allan Cahill, Robert Dei Rossi and Marian Verzosa, I would not have been able to prepare for the conference or take the time out from my actual job to come to Fargo.

  • Thanks to my great friend, Leslie Vail, her support and feedback helps Mariano and I deliver the best sessions we can. There are many of her ideas in both the sessions and the tools I have written.

  • Thanks to my family for supporting me and letting be go away for a week and a half. I just hope that the time in the USA has not pushed back my fitness and preparation for the Great West Australian Bike Ride in 2 weeks.

  • Thanks to Patrick Roth, who helps make this blog a success and presented a conference session with me.

  • Finally, a special thanks to my partner in crime, the other half of the Dynamics Duo, Mariano Gomez.  Thanks buddy for your friendship, knowledge, support and for working with me to make our sessions so much fun.
