From the Blogsphere: Word Templates, Security Helper and MVPs

David Meego - Click for blog homepageI will let you into a secret.  Not that it is very exciting. Last week I was on leave and due to the magic of pre-dating blog posts, articles were published while I was away automagically.

Anyhow, spending a week with the family for the first week of the school holidays was great, however, there is a down side.  Coming back to work after time spent on leave means clearing a backlog of emails.  As my Windows Mobile phone is connected my work Exchange email and my two personal email accounts, I had already performed "email triage" while on leave, but that still left a large number of emails that actually needed some actions from me.

So, what is all this about?  Well, I am just making excuses for not getting anything posted yesterday.

While I was "away", Mariano has been busy writing some great articles about customising the new Word Templates for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010.  Please check out his summary post:

Jivtesh Singh and Rubal have created another useful lookup facility on GPWindow.com. You can now lookup Security Roles and Tasks for windows.  This is functionality that the Security Information window in the Support Debugging Tool (SDT) can provide, but now you can get it without having the SDT loaded or even having Dynamics GP loaded. See the post below for details:

The other interesting news is that Mark Polino has had his MVP status renewed and Sivakumar (Siva) Venkataraman has now joined the rank of great Microsoft MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) for Microsoft Dynamics GP.  Please see the posts below from around the blogsphere for details.

Congratulations to Mark and Siva.  I feel really proud to be part of the most amazing community.  I love the fact that I can count the MVPs as not just work colleagues but as friends.
