I haven’t seen anything about VS Tools for Dynamics GP 2010. Is there an expected release date for that?

  2. Patrick Roth [MSFT] says:

As with 10.0, vstools for microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 will ship with Dynamics at RTM.

my blog post here talks about a few of the new features coming in GP 2010.  There are a couple more things but these are easily the top 3.

    That’s some cool stuff.

  4. Andy says:

There still seems a requirement for Adobe. I thought 2010 was using the Microsoft PDF builder in Office ?

  5. Patrick Roth [MSFT] says:

Generally, no.  The current functionality of Dynamics for PDF printing hasn’t changed.

What you are thinking of is that for the new "MS Word Forms Printing", yes that will generate PDF files.  MS Word generates the documents and then does a "Save As PDF" to create the PDFs.

So that is why you still see Adobe as a requirement for PDF creation.
