Bing Visual Search beta

David Meego - Click for blog homepageThe Bing team have announced Bing's new Visual Search feature (currently in beta).  The idea is to use images to help you find what you are looking for.

For example: You saw a nice dog while out the other day and want to know what breed it is.  Using Visual Search shows a gallery of dog breeds and you can browse through the to identify the breed. Once you have found the breed, click on the image for a search on that breed.

If you want to try it out, simply go to www.bing.com/visualsearch and install Silverlight if you don’t have it already.

Note: If you get a "Let's Try that again That web page doesn't exist" error, then change your country to United States using the link at the top right of the page and try the Visual Search link again.
