Around the Blogsphere
There have been a number of great articles posted on various Microsoft Dynamics GP Blogs in the last week. I just wanted to highlight a few of them.
- Mark Polino on the DynamicAccounting.net blog as clocked up his 1,000th post. A fantastic achievement from one of the top consultants and MVPs in the community.
- The Dynamics GP Blogster, Mariano Gomez, is explaining how to transfer Extender data and settings between companies. The best bit (only because I am biased) is that his second method uses the Support Debugging Tool and its XML Export & XML Import features.
- Victoria Yudin is continuing her series of articles related to creating views on SQL Server and using them to get data out of Microsoft Dynamics GP. This time she is covering how to create a SQL view with all posted Receivables transactions.
- Sivakumar Venkataraman on his blog, combines two of my favourite topics, Dexterity and Security and explains how the pessimistic security model of Microsoft Dynamics GP version 10.0 can cause issues with code that has not been updated to correctly handle Security Restrictions for Command Forms (and other hidden forms).
We have also come across another Microsoft Dynamics GP blog from an experienced consultant. Please welcome Gloria Braunschweig and her ComputerationDynamics blog.
Keep looking around the blogsphere, there is so much information out there to educate and amuse you. If you know of any blogs that should be added to the list of Microsoft Dynamics GP blogs, please post a comment to let us know.
