As the second feature in our MVP interview series, today we’re happy to present to you Lionel Leperlier!

Lionel Leperlier, French MVP, French Moderator

Lionel began participating in our MSDN Translation Wiki on March 18, 2013. We asked him a few questions about himself and his experience, and here’s what he had to share:

Please tell us a bit about yourself. What is your background?

Security consultant on Microsoft technologies since 2009, I work on edge protection with UAG, TMG and DirectAccess. Also with RMS, MBAM for protecting internal data, and finally on
AD CS and NPS on specific needs. I also write articles on my blog https://security.sakuranohana.fr.“

Why did you decide to become a moderator for French and spend your free time on this activity?

“In order to help the French Microsoft technologies users to obtain relevant information and technical documentation, without any misunderstandings due to translation.”

Can you explain what you find most rewarding/ interesting about this experience?

“Helping people find accurate translations of very technical documentation. And participate in order to help customers and the community, for easier appropriation of the knowledge on these technologies.”

Thank you, Lionel, for your dedication towards helping the French speaking MSDN community!
