After migrating to VS 2013 C++ Outlook add-in throws error MSB6006: "CL.exe" exited with formula –1073741515

Recently I tried migrating the C++ Outlook add-in project (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ee941475(v=office.14).aspx).
