Recently I used this wonderful, powerful data analysis feature in Microsoft Excel called “Microsoft Power Query” for one of my Machine Learning project. It’s easy and helped me to discover, combine and refine data. You can download and install the most recent version of Power Query for Excel, which automatically enables it.

Power Query technology is also built into the Power BI Designer, which is a stand-alone report authoring and data transformation tool for Power BI. This feature is a great “self-service” business intelligence (BI) for Excel with an intuitive and consistent experience for discovering, combining, and refining data across a wide variety of sources including relational, structured and semi-structured, OData, Web, Hadoop, Azure Marketplace, and more.
