Awhile ago I got a few emails from you all about how to get search in SPS & WSS to support OneNote section files (.one).  Back in February 2007 I posted OneNote IFilter – OneNote search on SharePoint/MOSS which has details on how to get this working.  However you had to install OneNote on the server which didn't work for all deployments.

I would like to announce that you can download and install the 2007 Office System Converter: Microsoft Filter Pack which includes support for OneNote section files (.one)!  You can get more details here on this blog post: MS Filter Pack released !  Enjoy all of your SharePoint admin gurus.
