I was just reading this blog about the Windows Shell – shell:revealed blog and I saw a post from VinnyP which is A look into the feature design process. My thoughts:

  1. If you want to learn about MS and how software is designed read this post
  2. This is what I do, Olya, David, Owen & Chris, we are PMs!
  3. You can read a _real_ spec that was used in Windows Vista

It is a great post, highly recommended.
