    I love it! Esp the extra challenge of minimizing the exe size. I was lamenting the loss of Spy++ from the usual list of SDK tools the other day but it looks like it's still there, just need to dig it out — another nice tip. It'll be sad if the shell UI goes DX one day since this sort of handy util wouldn't be possible.

    Thanks for the nice note! FYI that I have Visual Studio 2010 installed, not the Windows SDK explicitly. I suspect Spy++ remains a part of the SDK, but all my experience really shows is that it's part of the VS 2010 tools.

    Thanks a bunch! I am familiar with all the important keyboard shortcuts, i.e. for showing the desktop, so additional icons taking up precious taskbar space are really redundant!
