PhotoStory 3 is released today

PhotoStory 3 is released today and the great news is that it’s free for verified Windows XP owners. Sean Alexander writes about some of the new features on his blog.

I think using PhotoStory and MovieMaker together is a great combination to turn your photos and video into a compelling movie. I’ll have to write a little post soon on how I’ve done this in the past and host my final video somewhere for people to check out.

Just Added: Channel 9 has a video interview with some of the PhotoStory team.

Unfortunately, my fully legal installation of Server 2003 doesn’t qualify has being "Windows Authentic" for some reason…

  2. Dean Rowe says:

Sorry, it is Windows XP only so I’m afraid it doesn’t apply to Windows Server 2003.

    Cheers

    Dean.

I’ve downloaded and installed PS3 but find it is unusable. When I create a slide show, the pictures’ colors are changed to have a purple tint. Any suggestions???

Sorry to hear you’re having problems. I’m not really an expert on the internals of PhotoStory so you will probably be better off by posting a message to the microsoft.public.plus newsgroup.

    Good luck

    Dean.

I discovered my problem with poor color in a PhotoStory 3 slide show. I have a Hauppauge 2000 TV device that interferes with the display of PS3 shows. If the TV is shut off, the color is perfect. Thanks for your comments.
