Started Azure Technical Specialist Role - Today

There is a theory which states that if anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

After three years in the Financial Services Universe, as I have just begun to make some semblance of how Microsoft can help , my Universe has been replaced with something even more perplexing and exciting.  As of today I am Australia’s first Azure Technical Specialist.

I’ve very much appreciated working with 20 or so Financial Services enterprises, across more technologies than I can name and as many solutions as there are variations in operations. With some 400 people I regularly speak with, I wasn’t be able to say cheerio to all of you, but I will be keep tabs on the many projects we have started, finished and are progressing at speed.

Misquoting Douglas Adams again: The cloud is big. You wouldn't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way to the chemist's, but that just peanuts to the internet.

Expect my blog to get significantly more technical and more Azure focussed!
