Microsoft Tag – Make your phone a multi tag reader
The recent beta announcement that Microsoft has made around Microsoft Tag has certainly sparked my interest. It offers the ability for you to embed 2D barcodes in to physical objects – examples of use magazine articles / billboards / packaging /products and documents. This can help feed in to your social network to extend tags found into loyalty or promotional campaigns - linked in by camera on a range of mobile device types, translating the information gleaned into vcards, urls or plain text by using the Microsoft Tag web service.
