Perth Visual Web Developer 2005 Express and SQL Server 2005 Express training!

For all those based in Perth, Australia, I will be running two sets of training next week at Dimension Data Learning Services @

19 Pier Street

in Perth. Now, I know it’s very very VERY late notice, but the past few weeks have been too crazy for coolaid, but I’m hoping this won’t be too much trouble for everyone. Again, very sorry for the late notice :)

So, what’s the training?

The first run of sessions is “ASP.NET 101 for Developers”, and it covers everything you’ll need to know on how to build a data driven website using Visual Web Developer  2005 Express Edition and SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.

The training is hands-on, and is 3 hours in duration. Now, the great thing is everyone who comes along to the training gets to take away their own Virtual PC image with Windows XP Eval and the dev tools and labs installed. Also, you’ll get a certificate of attendance, signed by me J This training is really aimed at developers who want to start building their skills in this area, but aren’t in a position to commit to a full training course. This training will give you everything you need to get started, but is very much a stepping stone on your way to bigger things. The two sessions are:

  • Tuesday, 7th of March, 2006 from 9am to 12pm, and
  • Tuesday, 7th of March, 2006 from 1pm to 4pm

There is no meals provided, and there is a $45 charge to book into the training, which is payable to Dimension Data Learning Services; this can be paid on the day. There are only 12 seats available in each session, so please email me on davidlem@microsoft.com to confirm your attendance, or to ask questions.

Look forward to seeing you’ll there J
