MC Hammer Bloggin'!

I know it may seem like my blogging has been all over the place lately, but there is a structure and a method to everything, including the release of this much anticipated movie! So until I smooth out the bumps in the my blog strut, I'm asking everyone to please be kind.

It's been a busy week, and much has happened, so let me share :)

First, I've been enjoying the great content on www.interopmonth.com, which has a bunch of webcasts that focus on nothing but interop. I love it, as I think there are some great stories around integrating Microsoft technologies with other great platforms such as J2, JBoss and Weblogic. In fact, there are some awesome webcasts such as:

  • Application Interoperability: Microsoft .NET and J2EE
  • Interoperability Between .NET and Jboss
  • Interoperability Between .NET and WebSphere

So please get along to the site, register, and get across these hot topics.

Next, I caught up with my good mate Cam Reilly, who runs The Podcast Network. For me, Cam is to technology what Ted Turner was/is to media; if that doesn't make any sense, that's okay, I don't even understand what it means. But just nod your head, and say "hmmmm". I pitched my idea to Cam about a podcast called Black vs White, and the idea is about having a show where two experts from competing tech-religions battle it out, I reckon that would be awesome listening. Imagine J2 vs .NET, or XBOX vs PS2, or even better, Commodore 64 vs Amiga 500!

Lastly, but not leastly, there seems to be a fair bit of interest from partners and customers on getting a look at Visual Studio 2005 Team System. If you're organisation is keen on running a quick session (an hour or so) in-house, drop me a line, and I'd be more than happy to roll the wagon by, setup the stall, and start distributing the good oil. Trust me, any development aches and pains you may have will surely disappear!
