MEDC 2006: Speaker Training Day

Today was my day for speaker training.  This is a one on one meeting where you present a portion of your session and have your delivery critiqued.  It is, by far, the most difficult part of presenting for me.  I find it more intimidating to stand in front of one person, in a fairly large conference room and go over and over a small part of my session than just about any other aspect of speaking.  I am always thankful when it is over, and am always very glad to have gone through the experience.

My dry run is scheduled for Friday.  It'll be good to finally walk through the entire session in front of an audience.  I'm in the home stretch on this one... I cannot wait to get on stage and present it "for real".
