IIS7. In the books

Ok, it is official now. Milestone complete for IIS7. Time for us to celebrate and break out the bubbly... I should have checked one last time before this post.

Back at TechEd 2005 in Orlando, some of you may have noticed an older build of IIS7 running on Windows Server 2003 SP1. Yes, that was a temporary VPC image. IIS7 fully requires Longhorn Server for several features, including componentized setup and new HTTP.SYS features.

And for me, I am just looking forward to getting my life back in order and reclaim a couple days of sleep. :-)

Then, I can get back to gleaning newsgroup posts and then finishing up on over two dozen planned blog entries. Yeah, it has been growing quite a bit. I am still tossing around that RSS feed idea.

If you have not noticed - I decided to try out another color scheme for my blog. Monochrome green on dark grey got on my nerves yesterday evening, so I flipped the color scheme. I think the colors still work out.
