Rudi found a new on-line home

As a former Microsoft Developer Evangelist, Rudi Larno was a well-known name in the Belgian development community. But since he left Microsoft for heading a development team at Financial Architects we hadn't heard a lot of him.

The good news is that I just found out he has a new on-line home at LaRud's place. There isn't much content to read as of today but - hey Rudi, consider this as a trigger to start blogging more frequently. The world really want to learn what you guys at Financial Architects have been building with Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005. Subscribe to the RSS feed at https://larud.net/subtext/rss.aspx.

One thing I noticed while reading his blog through IE7 is that the rendering isn't ok. This is probably due to the new CSS behavior in IE7. Therefore I advise Rudi to have a look at how to test your site with IE7. The latest beta (beta 3) can downloaded from https://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx.

Hopefully Rudi will also make it to our MSDN Event on .NET Framework 3.0 Development. As we already have over 300 registrations - and the event is still a month away - there will be a lot of community people. This will be an excellent opportunity to (re-)connect. If you're still doubting whether to attend or not, don't hesitate too long anymore and register today. This is the only way we can guarantee you a seat!
