SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) for Oracle, MySQL, SAP ASE (formerly SAP Sybase ASE), DB2, and Access allows users to convert a database schema to a Microsoft SQL Server schema, upload the schema, and then migrate data to the target SQL Server (see below for supported versions).
What is new?
- Each iteration of the SSMA tool has been enhanced with several improvements to ensure greater accessibility for people with disabilities.
- SSMA for Oracle has been updated to improve the quality and conversion metric with targeted fixes, such as improved handling of date and float data types during data migration, based on customer feedback.
- SSMA for Sybase has been updated to provide support for CREATE OR REPLACE syntax.
NOTE: .Net 4.5.2 is a pre-requisite for installing SSMA v7.4 and later versions. With SSMA v7.4 and later versions, the 32-bit version of the tool has been discontinued.
