ADO.NET and SQL Server Everywhere

Steve Lasker has posted a screencast / video over on Channel 9 providing an overview on the various ADO.NET programming options available for SQL Server Everywhere, including an updateable resultset (SqlCeResultSet).

While on the subject, check out the new SQL Server Everywhere team blog and info on the SQL Server Everywhere CTP. Steve's SQL Server (three s') Everywhere FAQ is also a good resource.

  1. Garry Trinder says:

"SqlCeResultSet" – Is this a violation of your own naming convention policy?

It should be called "SqlCEResultSet", if I recall correctly?

  2. MSDN Archive says:

You’re right Uwe, SqlCeResultSet was created before Abrams and Cwalina’s excellent book on Framework Design.

  3. Readers of this blog should probably check out an announcement David Sceppa has just made on the MSDN forms. Check my link above or head there
